Windows NT 4.0:
Dial-up Networking Configuration Instructions

Step 1: Checking if Dial-up Networking
is installed on your PC

1. Go to: START | PROGRAMS | ACCESSORIES | DIAL-UP NETWORKING.

If, when you click on Dial-up networking, it brings up a window like below then continue with STEP 2.

If, when you click on Dial-up Networking, it brings up a window like below then continue with STEP 3.

Step 2: Installing Dial-Up Networking

1. Install your Windows NT 4.0 cd-rom and press INSTALL.

2. When NT ask you for the directory where your NT files are located, point it toward your cd-rom drive :\I386 (i.e. X:\I386) where X is your cd-rom drive. Press OK.

3. Restart your PC when you are prompted.

4. When your PC is re-started, go to: START | PROGRAMS | ACCESSORIES | DIAL-UP NETWORKING.

5. Add your area code and press Close. (see below)

6. A dialog box will appear Press OK. (see below)

Step 3: Adding a New Phone Book Entry

1. In the Highlighted Area type Velocity Online. Press Next. (see below)

2. Check the "I am calling the Internet" box and press Next. (see below)

3. Enter the phone number as shown below. Press Next.

4. Press Finished.

5. Press Dial and enter your username and password (username and passwords are given to you by your Velocity Online Internet Specialist).

6. Open your Browser (Netscape or Internet Expolorer) and ENJOY SURFING!!
