- You can try rebooting your
computer and trying again.
- Try dialing into our secondary
modems by dialing 222-5531. These are slower modems but so modems like
them better.
- If you are still getting
this message, there is something wrong with either your modem or your
modem drivers. As a temporary fix, try this: Go to My Computer, open
up Dial-Up Networking. Right-click on the Velocity Online icon and select
Properties. Click on the Configure button, then click on the Connection
Tab. Click on the Advanced button in the lower right corner. Add 'ATZ'
(without quotes) to the Extra Settings box. Then Click OK, then OK,
then OK.

recommend you take your computer to our service center to have the modem
checked out.
