Netscape 4.7 :
Mail Client Configuration Instructions

1. Open Netscape

2. Go to: EDIT | PREFERENCES.

3. In the Preferences dialog box Expand "Mail & Newsgroups" by clicking on the plus sign to the left it will make the screen look as shown below.

4. Click on the "Identity" tag. (see above)

5. Fill out the areas marked below with your information. This information is what will be displayed when you send E-mails.

6. Click on "Mail Servers" as shown above outlined in BLUE.

7. In the box outlined in BLUE below fill your box with the same information as shown.

8. Fill in your username (given to you by a Velocity OnlineInternet Specialist) in the highlighted box. (see below)

9. Click the ADD button. (see below)

10. In the "SERVER NAME" box type in as shown below.

11. In the "SERVER TYPE" box make sure that POP3 Server is chosen. Use the drop down menu outlined in Blue to make your selection.

12. In the "USER NAME" box put your username given to you by Velocity Online.

13. Click OK.

14. Click OK in the preferences dialog box this will take you back to the Netscape Browser. Open your mail and you're off!
