XP:
Setting up WindowsXP Dial-up
Click on START
Click on RUN
In the "OPEN" field, type "inetwiz", and press enter
A window should appear...see below
Click on "Connect using my phone line" and then click on "Next"
Click in the "Telephone Number" field, and type in "222-3337".
Uncheck "Use area code and dialing rules", and then click "Next"
Enter your "Username" & "Password" then click Next.
Enter a name for the Dial Up connection (ie."Velocity")
then click Next.
When asked "Do you want to set up and Internet mail account now?" -
click Yes, then click Next.
Click on "Create a new Internet mail account", Click Next
Enter your name as you would like it to appear on your emails (ie. John
Smith) then click Next.
Enter your email address in the Email address field... then click Next.
Enter the Server Type (POP3), and both Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server
Addresses "mail.velocityonline.net" then click Next.
Enter your FULL email address and Password in the displayed fields... then
click Next.
Click Finish to exit & complete the Setup Wizard..
You are now done! You have set up your dial up connection & email account
successfully!
